In January 2004 (a day before his 33rd Birthday), Wilson was "Down Size". He was told that his job was now "redundant".
Although he misses the job, its now behind him and is busy working as successful freelance artist. Using his knowledge of being with Marvel for 10 years he Pencils, Inks, colors, and letters. He is also a major Consultant/Art Director to Committed Comics and has brought in two of their books Java and Neo Dawn (which has been one of previews top 300 books.) He is in the processing of helping the company become the new face of comics.
He has already lettered over 2400 pages of Manga for Central Park Media and is still working strong. He has worked on such popular titles as Alien Nine 1 & 2, Hard Boiled Angel 1 & 2, Treasure Hunter and many more. He also still colors and works on many of the comic books published by Committed Comics. Such as Zevon-7 and Threads.
